Norsk kulturskoleråd ledet fra 2001-2004 et nysirkusprosjekt som blant annet involverte unge utøvere fra Belgia, Norge, Danmark, Nederland og Sverige.

This project was one of the few pioneer projects in the field of cirque nouveau with EU funding.The project group consists of participants and managers from five European countries: Belgium, Denmark, The Netherlands, Norway and Sweden. Over a period of three years we will arrange workshops, summer schools and performances with and for our participants. If we succeed in our efforts we hope this project will contribute to a development of this art form and secure future recruitment in the field of cirque nouveau, not only within the boundaries of the participating countries, but all over Europe as well.
