Prosjekt: Network Baltic - A New Dimension
Network Baltic is a far-reaching visual arts project situated in Grafikens Hus in the little town of Mariefred, Sweden. The project aims at creating a sustainable, dynamic, international network of artists and art institutions in the Baltic region, using graphic art as a common denominator. Network Baltic is active arranging a number of exhibitions that will tour the ten partner countries as well as virtual Internet exhibitions.
Politics of identity in the new European community and the possibilities of visual art in the digital age are reflected through the eyes of young artists, and explored in seminars, work shops and exhibitions organized by Network Baltic during a threeyear period; 2002 - 2005.
