Re-approaching new media (RAM) er et samarbeid mellom 6 nordiske og baltiske organisasjoner. Atelier Nord var norsk partner i prosjektet.
Prosjekt: Re-approaching New Media
Based on a network of collaborating partners CRAC is proposing a series of international and interdisciplinary workshops exploring new media in relation to arts and culture. There will be two workshops each year with digital and printed publications. Themes for the workshops are: "Sampling and questions on authorship", "social interaction and collective intelligence", Managing interactive processes between physical and virtual environments", "Developing new applications for the web", "Aesthetics, narration and social interaction in computer games", "New utopias / new visions".
The aim of this series of workshops is to create an international network of professional artists, technicians, designers, and media activists to provoke a productive and critical dialogue and exchange between different artistic cultures using new media and to encourage new tools of expression.
