Cultural diversity / Other purposes

Many of the applications submitted to the Council either fall outside the scope of the established disciplines or cross-cut several of them. In addition to the earmarked support programmes, funds are available for carrying out specific initiatives and ideas deemed to be of interest by the Council. Major experimental work programmes and one-off initiatives are given priority, especially in the field of cultural diversity.
