Visual arts

The Arts Council funds exhibition projects, new forms of expression and mediation as well as the publication of literature on the arts, artists’ books, exhibition catalogues and works containing critical reflections.

The Council’s initiatives are aimed at devising a framework for the internationalisation of creative and mediation processes, increasing audience awareness, and generating a dialogue on contemporary art in society. The Council adapts its funding to the changing roles of artists and curators alike, and seeks to promote knowledge and innovation in relation to new technologies and contemporary art, in addition to interdisciplinary projects.
